Stevens-Johnson syndrome (ste´vәnz jon´sәn) a severe and sometimes fatal form of erythema multiforme in which the lesions may involve the oral and anogenital mucosa, eyes, and viscera, associated with such constitutional symptoms as malaise, headache, fever, arthralgia, and conjunctivitis.
