Y-set an intravenous administration unit with two separate spikes, each with its own drip chamber and clamps for flow regulation; the fluids are intermingled in the tubing or sometimes in a third drip chamber. These may be used for either rapid infusion of fluids or dual administration, such as of blood and a sodium chloride solution.
